World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade feature for items allows players to upgrade their existing equipment. This can be done at any upgrader NPC.
Upgrades increase the main stat of an item and add additional features based on the type of item. Examples include Whistan's shield, for FB Sorcs or Goldwraps for build casters.
Armour
Link's armor is a key element in keeping him safe from danger. Although it isn't upgraded like weapons, it is possible to improve its defence capabilities in different ways.
The basic idea of armour is to protect a person or animal from physical injury or harm in the form of direct physical assault or from various environmental and activity hazards. In the past, most armour was made from leather or fabric, but metal protections were also used in military applications, particularly like heavy cavalry or combat drones.
Like weapons there are a variety of ways that armor can be upgraded however, most of them will require a visit to one of the four Great Fairy Fountains located throughout Hyrule. Each fountain has a distinct level of upgrade and higher levels of protection that require more rupees as well as materials.
First, Armor Upgrades are permanent upgrades. Once they've been put in place and removed, they cannot be reverted until you own a different piece of equipment with the same upgrade. You should only apply most advanced upgrades to your equipment, and ensure that you have the materials needed to complete them.
When it comes to acquiring the necessary upgrade components, you'll find them all over Hyrule, including shrines, merchants as well as enemies. They are typically marked by a blue triangle or a gold circle and are found in huge numbers as you progress. Weapons

You can find weapons upgrade components scattered across the world and from the hands of enemies or bought from a merchant. Prioritize upgrading your best-in slot items first. Then upgrade those that you aren't likely to replace anytime soon. Upgrade your weapon first, then upgrade your shoulders, chest, hands, and feet in case you intend to play an asymmetrical build. Similar principles apply to Magic and Utility Items, with the caveat that certain products may be superior to others, based on your style of play. The same goes for Armour and reforges, with some having superior performance over others.
Magic Items
A character is able to upgrade only one magic item at a time. If item upgrading is cancelled and the next upgrade for the item won't begin. Upgraded magic items cost twice the amount of gold to create or purchase, but they can have additional benefits.
A magical item could be any item that has special properties or effects. These are usually weapons, but they can also be armors, shields and cloaks, as well as potions. They could also be scrolls, rings or other items. Certain of these items can be made to speak.
Most magical items can be upgraded so that they are equipped with additional capabilities. This makes them more useful to a player, or it can help them overcome an especially difficult challenge. A weapon that is infused with a special substance might be able to provide additional damage against a specific type of enemy. Certain items with enchanted properties have special powers that let the character cast spells in addition to those on the list of spells for their class. This is helpful for characters who have difficulty filling their spell slots because of multiclassing. These enchanted objects require an Intelligence check (Arcana), and the spell is determined by rolling a table that is based on the number of Intelligence points expended.
Other enchanted objects might allow the player's appearance to be changed or create a brand new one. These items are especially beneficial for characters who were forced to leave their home or in a place that they might not be welcomed. A magical item could give them the ability to disappear or make them invisible for everyone except the chosen person.
Utility Items
Utility items are anything that isn't part of the categories of Armor or Clothing and are able to perform a variety of capabilities. Contrary to Weapons and Armor and Clothing, no utility item will be in conflict with the other. Most utility items have an effect that the player can activate when using them, however, some come with additional capabilities that are activated when the user presses the button or activates the ability.
The Flashlight is the most common accessory. It is used to illuminate the area around it. Other items of utility include the Helicopter Hat and Rocket Boots, which allow the player to float in the air while moving and the Jetpack that allows players to accelerate in any direction while on the ground. In the Engineering section, you can instantly produce several utility items, while others are available only through Research projects or Experimental projects on the Proving Ground.
Players can gain more powerful utility items in addition to the ones that are available in their normal inventory by purchasing them from the Atomic Shop or from seasonal Scoreboard rewards. Certain of these items are upgradeable to increase their effectiveness.
Most utility items enhance the combat ability of a particular character or provide the player with some kind of navigation advantage. Sharpening stones, made by the Weaponsmith can boost power and Ferocity, while Maintenance Oils, made by a Huntsman, increase Concentration and healing power. Other utility items can be utilized by players to boost Damage or Condition Damage.
XCOM soldiers can equip one utilitarian item to begin the campaign. An additional slot is available after the completion of certain research, engineering or experiments on the Proving Ground. In the Alien Hunters DLC, additional slots are added by equipping the Grenade Launcher which lets the player equip a Smoke Grenade or Bomb in an additional grenade slot, while an offensive grenade is equipped in the main grenade slot.
